Wizionary respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We may remove or disable access to material that infringes the rights of copyright holders and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

1. User Responsibility

  • You may only upload content (music, video, text, sound effects, or other materials) that you own or have permission to use.
  • Uploading copyrighted works without proper licensing is strictly prohibited.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you share on Wizionary.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on Wizionary infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to us that includes the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its URL or location on Wizionary.
  3. Your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Counter-Notification (For Users)

If your content was removed due to a copyright complaint and you believe this was a mistake or that you are legally allowed to use the content, you may send us a counter-notification including:

  1. Identification of the removed content and its location before removal.
  2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your country of residence (or if outside the EU/US, consent to jurisdiction in Brussels/EU).
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

After receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the content unless the original copyright complainant files a legal action within a reasonable period.

4. Repeat Infringers

  • Wizionary reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe on copyright.
  • This includes multiple valid takedown notices received for a single account.
